Regent park was not a great place to be 2 years ago. It was, in fact, a scary place to be. The community was, at times, a frightening area. There were shootings, deaths and other crimes. Presently, Regent Park is a great community to be. All of the businesses that closed down have re-opened to become a more social place. Everybody that had lived there two years ago are now much happier. New apartments opened up in Regent Park because lots of people have moved there. So many things have changed. The city put more money into Regent Park in recent years and it is now becoming one of the best places to be in Toronto.
